Chef Darrel's Mountain Diner
Chef Darrel's Mountain Diner is a traditional diner located in Blue Mountain Lake serving breakfast all day as well as lunch, dinner. We use fresh ingredients to handcraft a home-style menu in a casual, family-friendly environment.
The dining area was built by the Silk City Diner Company, a division of Paterson Vehicle Company, of Paterson NJ in 1946, as a prefab working restaurant. It was #59, a sister to the Miss Albany Diner in Albany, NY. After it was completed, the diner was moved to Conowingo MD on the Susquehana River and operated as a diner for decades. Tom Warrington and Betsy Folwell bought it in 2015 and moved it to Blue Mountain Lake, NY in 2017.
